Officers of the Corporation: 

Lynne and Jack Whitley, along with Charlie Noggle, have been a part of many organizations, small and large.  They have learned that it is not the size of the company that makes it strong, but the hands-on commitment to service and excellence that raises it above its competitors.  As our record proves, Whitley Logistics, Inc. has this commitment to service and excellence.  We will continue to strengthen  this commitment by adding to and updating our equipment in order to meet our customers needs.  We will also continue to be available immediately, at any time night or day.  This is our pledge to you.




Lynne Whitley - President

Lynne Whitley has been the President of Whitley Logistics, Inc since 2003.  With over 30 years in the transportation business she has been involved in the growth and development of several different companies.  Working in every department including dispatching, employee relationships, customer service, and accounting has given her the knowledge needed to be President of Whitley Logistics, Inc.

The overall goal of the position of President is to review and direct the employees of Whitley Logistics, Inc. and to assure the efficiency and professionalism of the company is maintained at all times.  The President is to lead the company in order to attain the highest level of customer service satisfaction, and in the process achieve company revenue and profitability objectives.  

Charlie Noggle - Vice President of Sales and Quality

 Charlie Noggle ran the offense for the North Carolina State Wolfpack team until he graduated in 1966.  After a brief stint of playing for the Kansas City Chiefs, he went to work for Roadway Express.  As the Break Bulk Manager he was introduced to the trucking business.  Seven years later Charlie went to work for US Truck Lines where he worked his way up to V.P. of Operations.  After 40 years in the trucking business Charlie started his own company, C&N Logistics, which he ran until he joined forces with Jack and Lynne at Whitley Logistics, Inc.  

As Vice President of Sales and Quality, Charlie guarantees that the refrigerated transportation services of Whitley Logistics meet all customer expectations and requirements.  Those include the established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that have been recognized as being in compliance with Federal and European Union standards and acts as the liaison with the staff to ensure that they are functioning properly.   Where appropriate, he mandates changes and oversees their implementation.  The objective of this position is to see that the staff is provided with the training, tools, personnel, and techniques to enable all concerned employees to achieve compliance with SOPs and meet the clients expectations and requirements.

Jack Whitley - Vice President of Operations

Jack Whitley, another North Carolina State Wolfpack star, was awarded All ACC recognition, along with the Sports Illustrated All-American Team for his play as a defensive back.  Jack then went on to work for Lawrence Moving and Storage as a Branch Manager for the Raleigh/Durham area.  He was approached in 1985 by a group to buy an Allied Agency, which led him to successfully develop and sell an Allied, United, and Mayflower agency.  In 2000 while working with Omega Services, an International Freight Forwarding Company, Jack became aware of the need for specialized transportation, hence the formation of Whitley Logistics, Inc.

As the Vice President of Operations for Whitley Logistics, Inc., he is responsible for the direction of all equipment, personnel and drivers in order to ensure the attainment of the highest level of customer service satisfaction possible. In the process, his goal is to achieve company revenue and profitability objectives. He also oversees the training of all drivers and personnel, making sure that everyone has the extensive instructions they need to provide excellent customer service.  Whitley Logisitcs, Inc. believes that this thorough knowledge of company policies, SOPs, communication requirements, equipment monitoring and maintenance, and documentation policies and requirements, will enable us to be the best that we can be. 
 

Key Employees:


Sam Nagel - General Manager

Sam Nagel has over 30 years of experience in the logistics industry. From Miami to Atlanta to Raleigh, he has managed and overseen various applications of freight. As General Manager of Whitley Logistics, he handles the day to day operations, development and maintenace of relationships with key vendors and drivers. Duties also include the supervision and management of key departments such as dispatch, plasma, documentation and validation.


Janiece Ferguson - Documentation Controller

Janiece Ferguson is the Documentation Controller.  The responsibility of the Documentation Controller is the origination, maintenance, updating, storage, and word processing of all company policies and SOPs.  This position aligns itself closely with the President, Vice Presidents, General Manager, and Plasma Coordinator to verify that all procedures and SOPs are up-to-date.  Janiece must understand in minute detail all aspects of each SOP and company policy.  Further, it is her responsibility to notify all involved parties of any changes that are made and ensure that proper documentation is completed.  She is also responsible for performing quarterly internal audits and making sure Whitley Logistics, Inc. is prepared for all external audits.  


Blair Stout - Plasma Logistics Coordinator

Blair knows the importance in keeping the door of communication open between the customer and Whitley Logistics, Inc., and constantly works at improving these relationships.  She also uses this skill in her role as Plasma Logistics Coordinator. One of her main focuses is scheduling between the Plasma Center, company drivers, and the customer.  Achieving this includes the maintenance of a master and weekly dedicated schedule and making timely and accurate schedule changes pursuant to real time customer requests based on the dynamic needs of plasma centers.  She also takes an active role in the development of new business and sales promotions.
